These instructions are for Non-Secure Print copiers. Please visit our Secure Print Online article for Secure Print copier-related troubleshooting.

Step 1: Check Your WiFi Connection

  • Make sure you are connected to the Kinkaid secure WiFi network.

  • If you are on the Kinkaid Guest network, you will not be able to print to campus printers.

  • To verify your connection:

    1. Click the WiFi icon in the top-right corner of your screen.

    2. Confirm that you are connected to Kinkaid (not Guest).

    3. If needed, disconnect and reconnect to the correct network using this guide: Kinkaid Secure WiFi Missing.

Step 2: Check the Paper Supply

  • Open the tray you’re printing from and verify that it has enough paper.

  • If the tray is empty or incorrectly loaded, refill it and try printing again.

  • Additionally check the paper size to make sure the correct size is being used and printed on.

Step 3: Restart the Printer

  • Turn the printer off, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

  • Allow the printer to fully reboot before sending another print job.
