If searching provides no results, follow the steps below to view searches in Gmail:
For desktop/laptop users, after running your search, change the sorting option from Most relevant to Most recent above the search results. This should allow the messages to appear.
For Gmail Mobile App, ensure you are searching in All inboxes in order to search.
