Common Reasons Your WebEx Calling App Is Not Working
You are signed into the wrong account: Make sure you are logged into your Kinkaid email and not your personal email account.
Not receiving calls or voicemails: Make sure your device's notifications are enabled.
Other party cannot hear you: Make sure your microphone is unmuted and enabled in your device's permission settings.
If you need to install Webex and learn the basics of it, please follow the steps below.
Installing Webex on a Mac:
1. Open the Self Service application on your Kinkaid laptop and locate for the Webex application.

2. Install Webex and launch the app.

3. Sign in using your Kinkaid email (username@kinkaid.org).

- After entering your email, it will take you to a Google sign-in screen. Continue with signing in normally.

4. Follow the standard Allow and OK prompts.
Installing Webex on an iPhone:
1. Open the Apple App Store and search for "Webex" (ensure it's the "Webex" app, not "Webex Meetings" or "Webex Events").

2. Install and Open the app.
3. Sign in using your Kinkaid email (username@kinkaid.org).
- After entering your email, it will take you to a Google sign-in screen. Continue with signing in normally.

4. Follow the standard Allow and OK prompts.
Using Webex:
- To make calls, select the Calling tab in the bottom center, and then select the keypad in the top-right corner.

While on a call, you can hold, transfer, or merge calls by selecting options from the in-call menu.
- Manage your availability, call forwarding, and status through the settings menu (top-left corner) by tapping on your initial.

And selecting Manage Quiet Hours to alter your phone notifications, and prevent ringing during off-hours or weekends:

- Voicemails can be accessed and managed directly from the Webex app.
