Over time, your browser stores temporary data like cookies and cached files to help websites load faster. However, this data can sometimes cause issues—especially after website updates, login problems, or when pages don’t load correctly. Deleting your cache and cookies can often resolve these issues and improve performance.

Step 1: Open Chrome Settings

  1. On your computer, open Google Chrome.

  2. Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Click Delete Browsing Data... .

Step 2: Choose Time Range and Data to Delete

  1. In the window that appears, choose a time range at the top.

    • To clear everything, select All time.

  2. Check the boxes next to:

    • Cookies and other site data

    • Cached images and files

Step 3: Delete the Data

  • Click the Delete data button.

  • Wait a few moments for the process to complete.

  • You may be signed out of some websites and will need to log in again.

  • Sites may take slightly longer to load the first time as they rebuild their cache.
