If your bookmarks have disappeared in Google Chrome, follow the steps below to restore them by ensuring you are signed into the correct Chrome profile.


Step 1: Check Your Chrome Profile

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. In the top-right corner, click on your profile icon.
  3. If you see "Profile 1 - Not signed in", this means Chrome is not connected to your account, and your bookmarks will not be available.

Step 2: Sign Into Your Google Account

  1. Click Add to create or switch to the correct Chrome profile.
  2. Sign in using your school-issued Google account credentials.


Step 3: Enable Sync to Restore Bookmarks

  1. After signing in, click your profile icon in the top-right corner again.
  2. Select Turn on sync...


  • When prompted, click "Yes, I'm in" to confirm.


Step 4: Verify Your Bookmarks

  • Once sync is enabled, your bookmarks should reappear automatically.
  • If your bookmarks are still missing, try restarting Chrome or signing out and back into your profile.
