Common Reasons Why The Printer is Not Printing

  • Connection Issues: The printer might not be properly connected to the computer or network.
  • Low Supplies: The printer may be low on toner or paper.
  • Print Queue Paused: Cancel all existing print jobs and reprint.
  • Device Reboot: Reboot both the printer and your computer.

These instructions are for Non-Secure Print copiers. Please visit our Secure Print Online article for Secure Print copier-related troubleshooting.

If you're still unable to print, follow these steps below to troubleshoot.

1. Check Your WiFi Connection

  • Make sure you are connected to the Kinkaid secure WiFi network - printing will not work on the Guest network.

2. Check the Paper Supply

  • Check the paper tray to ensure it has enough paper and is loaded correctly.

  • Verify the paper size matches what the printer expects before printing again.

3. Restart the Printer

  • Turn the printer off, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

  • Allow the printer to fully reboot before sending another print job.
